Howden Minster is a fully accessible venue with wheelchair access and accessible toilet facilities.

Howden is a beautiful and historic market town, with many independent shops and cafes to explore.

Car Parking

Howden Minster is only a short walk from either of the two pay-and-display car parks in Howden:

 

1. Bishops Manor House Car Park, DN14 7SZ (car park entrance is via Hailgate)

 

2. Charles Briggs Avenue, DN14 7ST

 

Both pay-and-display car parks are free after 6pm and all day on Sundays.

 

Limited free on-street parking, close to Howden Minster, is also available. There is a 1 hour parking limit in the Market Place and a 2 hour limit on the surrounding streets. Limits do not apply after 6pm and all day on Sundays.

Bus and Rail

East Yorkshire X5 and 55 buses run regularly between Hull and Goole, stopping at Howden. The bus stop is just opposite Howden Minster.

 

Howden does have a railway station but it is about 1.5 miles north of the town and there is no taxi rank at the station. If you plan to travel to a concert by train and need transport to Howden Minster, please contact our chairman Steven Goulden on 07743 448123 and we will do our best to arrange a lift for you.
