Hana Drábková started playing the oboe when she was ten years old. She began playing as a soloist with professional ensembles and orchestras when she was in her teens. After completing her studies at the Brno Conservatoire and the Janáček Academy of Performing Arts (Brno, Czech Republic), she was appointed as Principal Oboist in the South Bohemian Chamber Orchestra (JKF) and the Philharmonic Orchestra Hradec Kralove (FHK), as well as in several opera house orchestras. Hana has performed as a soloist throughout the Czech Republic. Before coming to the UK, she taught the oboe at Brno Conservatoire for ten years and many of her students have become accomplished professionals.

Hana has been an oboe tutor at the University of Hull since 2014 and has performed with orchestras, ensembles and theatre companies throughout East Yorkshire and the UK. She is also a sought-after oboe reed maker.

Graziana Presicce is an Italian pianist currently based in the UK. She recently completed a scholarship-funded PhD in Music Performance at the University of Hull (2020) after graduating with a first class BA Music Degree, where she was awarded the Sir Thomas Beecham Music Scholarship and Special Prize in Music. The friendly atmosphere and the privilege to study piano under the guidance of Irina Glushenkova encouraged her to pursue her studies at Hull further by completing a Masters course with Distinction.

As a performer, Graziana actively engages in recitals in and out of Hull, both as a soloist and accompanist. Past engagements include what is believed to be the recorded premiere of works by the Hull-born composer Ethel Leginska, performed with baritone Lee Tsang as part of the Hull City of Culture 2017 (March 2017) and featured on BBC Radio 3's Music Matters. Graziana performed on various occasions as part of the Hull Philharmonic Orchestra, beside an engagement as a concerto rehearsal pianist. Other performances include concertos with the former Hull University Orchestra and the New International Chamber Ensemble (NICE), the latter of which includes various chamber performances and collaborations with local professional musicians.

Through the course of her studies, Graziana also had the privilege of taking part in collaborative projects with composers which premièred new works, including Nigel Morgan's Deep Sea Diver (Hull, 2012), Sandy Clark's A Blue Scent Rises (Leeds Lieder, 2012), Alastair Borthwick and Rob Mackay's Snake Lines (from Living Museums, Nicosia, 2014; Hull, 2016), and George Marshall's In Memory (Hull, 2017). As well as being the current holder of the Sinfonia UK Collective's Graduate Placement Scheme, Graziana undertook the role of administrator for the ensemble on various occasions, including the Sinfonia UK Collective Canada tour (2015). She is currently Music Assistant at Polyphony Arts.

As classical pianist, Graziana's interests embrace a variety of musical styles and she always looks forward to new creative experiences. Graziana's doctoral research, also explored through her performance activities, investigates music listeners' experiences of visual imagery.
